Good ole' fashioned BBQ and fixin's

Welcome to the Haiti Update.  I'm going to try to post pics and news about our journey every day for the next week.  If you don't use an RSS reader, you'll have to check back daily for the latest info.  If you've never used an RSS reader, go to google.com and in the upper left corner, click "Reader" (or "More", then "Reader").  You'll be happy you did.  Here we go.

Two days and counting...

Tonight, Brent and Christa Honeycutt hosted the families of the bro's going to Haiti.  Check out all the pics HERE.  With less than 48 hours left before we get on a plane headed south, we had a great night of food and fun.  There was the much anticipated BBQ from Stephenson's, homemade dessert, and fainting goats on Youtube.  We shared stories about what kind of bug resistant pants we're bringing and fought over who found the strongest DEET.  Rick claims he's got 103%; we're still waiting to see it.  We finished the night with songs from the 80's and a prayer that God would protect us and that we would be a light for Jesus in a country that has been completely wrecked by natural disaster.

We would love to hear from you while we're away.  Please feel free to leave messages and prayers for the bro's in the comments section.
